The insider filings came in a cluster. Ethos Technologies CEO Peter Colis sold 23,333 shares at an average $38.85 — roughly $906,487. President Lingke Wang unloaded 118,333 shares for about $4.61 million, cutting his direct stake 7.15%.

Williams-Sonoma CEO Laura Alber sold $7.74 million on September 16. Magnite director Douglas Knopper sold 37,337 shares for $981,216 — a 42.2% cut to his direct position.

All pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 plans. Individually, that means nothing. Stacked in one week, it's a data point about where sellers think the price is fair.

The Call

The desk reads Friday's action as distribution risk, and JPM at $345.02 is where it gets confirmed. Seven names on our board gapped up. Five of them closed red.

Six of ten finished below their own opening print. That is the pattern that matters, not the individual filings.

Two names closed in the bottom tenth of their session range — GOOGL at 5% and AMD at 9%. Both had opened higher.

Priority Board

  • JPM — $347.31. Two straight red closes. It sits 0.7% above the $345.02 90-day low and gapped down 0.59%. A congressional disclosure showed a small August sale — footnote, not a catalyst. Below $345.02, the financials read breaks down.
  • GOOGL — $350.00. Gapped up 2.87% to $357.31, touched $359.38, closed near the low. Three consecutive green closes and this one was hollow. Our below-$347.31 call is still live.
  • AMD — $542.59. Now 0.2% below the $543.81 90-day high after a $552.86 rejection. Up 10.9% over 30 sessions. $552.86 is the level breakout traders are watching.
  • NVDA — $219.81. Four green closes in a row, but only +0.5% across 30 sessions. Equinix guiding to $5–$7 billion in annual data center spend is the consensus bid here. It is already in the price.
  • META — $675.61. Second red close, $14.46 off the high. We called it below $648.64 two weeks ago and were wrong — the AI-capex bid held firmer than we read. $678.99 is the ceiling now.
  • AAPL — $334.94. Our above-$340.01 call expired unfilled. It closed 2.8% below the $344.57 52-week high and never reclaimed the level. Momentum stalled, we own that.

Exposure Check

  • Working: AMZN at $253.86, two green closes and the day's best move at +1.06%. Still the worst 30-session performer on the board at -6.8%.
  • Not working: V at $369.35, four consecutive red closes. It closed in the upper third of a thin range on the lightest volume here.
  • Changing: the capex trade. The obvious beneficiary of enterprise AI buildout is Nvidia. The 30-session spread says AMD took the flow — 10.9% against 0.5%.
  • What flips this: META reclaiming $678.99 on a close. That kills the distribution read across megacap growth.

Pre-Open Watch

  • JPM $345.02 — fade
  • AMD $552.86 — press
  • META $678.99 — hold
