Global stocks slid Tuesday on energy-shock concerns as world yields hit fresh highs, per The Globe and Mail. Six of ten names on our board closed red.
The damage was not evenly spread. Cloud and the bank wore it. Chips and META did not.
The Call
META at $673.11 is the only clean long-side structure on the board. It gapped down 1.05%, reversed, and finished at a 90-day high.

Priority Board
META — $673.11, +1.13%. Third straight green close. Traded $678.80 and closed in the upper third of the range. We called META below $648.64 on Saturday. Wrong — it went the other way and printed a 90-day high. Below $656.47 the reversal is void.
AMZN — $248.83, -1.86%. Closed near the session low, in the lower third. Two straight red closes. Down 12.4% over thirty sessions and 12.4% under the 90-day high. Weakest structure on the board.
JPM — $345.13, -1.43%. Gapped up 0.25%, then bled all day. Closed in the lower third and right at the bottom of its 90-day range. Rising long yields are not bidding this bank. Our below-$353.56 call confirmed at $351.60.
Over thirty sessions META is up 14.1% and AMZN is down 12.4% — a 26.5-point spread between two megacaps.
NVDA — $212.21, +0.59%. Heaviest volume on the board at roughly one million shares. Gapped up 1.1% and closed below its open, in the lower third. Green print, poor internals. Still down 6.6% over five sessions.
AMD — $503.76, +2.10%. Biggest gainer, and the one that gave the most back. It touched $513.65, then faded 1.93% into the bell. We called AMD above $525.00 twice and missed twice. That 90-day high stays the level breakout traders are watching, and it has rejected us both times.
AAPL — $329.75, -1.00%. Two red closes, mid-range, 4.3% under the 52-week high of $344.57. Our $340.00 call expires Friday and needs 3.1%. That one is in trouble. We also called AAPL below $310 — it went the other way, and the level was never in reach.
Exposure Check
- Working: META while $656.47 holds. The gap-down reversal is the day's best print.
- Not working: AMZN and GOOGL. GOOGL closed in the lower third at $344.29, 8.8% under the 90-day high of $377.61. We called GOOGL below $325 once and it ran the other way.
- Changing: cutting conviction on semis. Both AMD and NVDA faded their gaps on the same session.
- Watching: JPM into the widely watched $340.00 round number.
- Ignoring: the rate-path chatter. CNBC's Jim Cramer warned against playing the Fed rate "parlor game." The levels are cheaper than the guess.
What flips this read: a close back under $656.47 in META with the cloud names bid. Then the split was noise and the yield move is hitting everything.
Pre-Open Watch
- META $678.80 — press.
- JPM $340.00 — fade.
- AMZN $248.46 — hold.
